Praveen Kumar Dudi is a highly skilled Staff Engineer with 9+ years of experience in building data-intensive applications and tackling challenging architectural and scalability problems in the Telco and Finance industries. Currently, he is contributing to Telstra in the Digitization Project, where he is involved in implementing Petabyte scale data pipelines and Cloud Migration. Praveen has a proven track record of designing cloud architecture to cater to business needs and evaluating Big Data Cloud offerings (PAAS Services). He has also contributed to the cloud migration from legacy stack and trained colleagues to adopt to the cloud offerings. Prior to his current role, Praveen served as a Senior Big Data Engineer at Telstra, where he played a key role in implementing the Big Data Solution for the firm. Before joining Telstra, Praveen worked as an Associate at JP Morgan, where he developed Spark programs using Scala and Python API's and converted SQL queries into Spark transformations using Spark RDDs and Data Frames. He also designed and implemented data extraction frameworks for rest API calls and contributed to the Hadoop data ingestion framework developed on Python. Praveen holds a Master of Technology degree in Data Science and Engineering from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Rungta College of Engineering & Technology, Kohka-Kurud Bhilai. He is proficient in Spark, Data Engineering, ML, Big Data, SQL, Hadoop, AWS, Python, Scala, and Apache Hive. In addition to his technical skills, Praveen is a quick learner and has a keen interest in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
